Tri-County Tournament

Last Saturday night Jeanne, Scott and Walker came over for game night. It was a lot of fun! The boys played Halo for a while and the girls (Kaylee and Amy) played Sims. We all played Taboo together at the end. We have to do that more often. You can only stare at the idiot box so much.

Last Sunday I spent the day at another Tournament. Jonnie placed third in his weight class and the Timberlane Team placed 1st. I had a nice time visting with Dad (I think he likes football better). This weekend is the home Tournament at Timberlane and then State Finals.

Tomorrow's weather is not looking to nice for skiing (unless they get all snow up there). Last Friday the conditions were great but it was freezing! Jonnie skipped wrestling practice to go with us and had a great time hanging out with his friends. Kaylee got really cold after her lesson. We did a few more runs and called it a night around 7:30pm. I got a lot of runs in while Kaylee was at her lesson though. Fun time!

Rundlett Tournament

Another long Saturday proved to be worth it when Jonathan walked away with 2nd place in his weight class from the Rundlett Tournament in Concord, NH. You wait a long time in between bouts but it is intense to watch. Next weekend is The Tri-County Tornament in Pelham on Sunday.

Winter Concert

Kaylee's winter concert was last night. They sounded great! It's neat how having a bunch of kids sing together always sounds good. This is the last year I will have kids in the Sandown schools and I will miss it so much. It's just not the same once they go to Middle School and now I will have one in High School as well (OMG I am so old!)

Rain

It’s raining again…………..YUCK! It’s not supposed to rain in January. I hope it’s snowing in Henniker now because we have ski club tonight. Rain all day wouldn’t be good for ski conditions.
The kids had a two hour delay today…………glad it wasn’t another snow day or they would be in school another day in June.
Jonathan has a wrestling tournament tomorrow in Concord, NH. He has to leave the school tomorrow morning at 7:00am. He opted out of skiing tonight so he can be at top performance. It can be tricky having two kids when one needs a ride home from wrestling practice at the time you will be chaperoning at ski club for the other one. Thank God for sisters and friends to bail me out.

This is all new to me "Blogging". Thought I would try it out because my sister Jeanne has such a great Blog.
